How do I enter?
You can enter online at www.joziadventure.co.za. Late entries are accepted on the morning of race day between 6 – 11am on the field.
What is the minimum age?
72km: 17 years old
54km: 16 years old
22km: 9 years old
10km: 6 years old
2km: 6 – 8 years old
1km: 4-6 years old
Fitness level required?
The 22km is for the newbi, less skilled or less fit riders and the 54km is recommended for the fit and technically advanced rider. Riders entering the 54km must be sure of their riding skills and fitness levels on a bike.
Kids’ race: R150
Entry dates will be 22 and 23 August.
If you can’t enter, you can seed your entry to someone, no refunds, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to change who is racing.
Why is the Hollard JUMA more expensive that other one day races?
“The Hollard JUMA is not just another MTB race” this exciting and adventurous course around JHB takes over 3 months to put together, the cost of this massive task is over 7 million rand. If you don’t believe this come ride the race to see how much effort goes into planning the Hollard JUMA.
Do I need a SAS number?
No SAS number, SAS Seeding used, race boards will be provided.
Can I ride with someone else’s number?
No. If you’re found riding with someone else’s number, you could be disqualified. This is strictly enforced because your personal and medical details are linked to your race number in case of an emergency.
What if I enter and cannot take part?
If the entrant cannot take part they will NOT be refunded his/her entry fee. You can however find a substitution before race day at a fee of R50.

Thereafter substitutions will ONLY be accepted at registration, however NO substitutions will be allowed on event day (Sunday 3rd June).

I want to change my distance, what do I do?
You are welcome to chance your route, but only on the morning of the race. Please proceed to the registration counter.
What do I wear?
Helmets are compulsory. Cycling shoes, shorts and other cycling gear are recommended.
How can I confirm the status of my entry?
If you entered online, we will send you a confirmation of payment within a week after the entry and payment has been received. Alternatively you can contact the event organizers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How is my seeding calculated and who is seeded?
Seeding is done through SAS SEEDING. SAS have the biggest footprint in SA so you are sure to be given the best seeding according to your past results.
Batches will be announced closer to the event, between 7-8am.
All seedings will be notified during the week of the race, 19-21st August, collect race board at registration.
When will I be assigned my race number and be notified of my seeding/start time?
29 May all Seeding and start info will be relayed via email and SMS.
Registrations and Collections?
Registration is on the website, and at Cycle Lab Fourways, 9am-5pm 22 &23 August, will get an SMS closer to the time.
First batch starts at 8am. Batches starting times will be communicated closed to race day by email & sms.
